Another beautiful January day at Nottoway Park…! You think I’m being sarcastic? Maybe a little bit. But really, it’s always so green here, it’s beautiful year-round, and having this wonderful, loving family to star in this family session definitely doesn’t hurt either. You can really feel the love in these. Not to mention…
Have you seen this child? Seriously, look at her.
LOOK AT HER! So cute. And it’s not just her adorable smile and her pinch-able cheeks, either. Baby S preferred the abbreviated, “hayu,” to our more cumbersome, “how are you?” Talk about a trendsetter. I fully expect that to be internet slang by 2020.
Her parents also told me that Baby S has a particular code of conduct. She’ll invite you to sit on the stairs with her, at which point you are expected to do nothing but sit there. Attempting to leave or engage in any activity is not allowed – which makes sense. The cool kids are always the most nonchalant.
…Except maybe when dad offers free hugs.
…Or mom. But, hey, some things are worth getting excited over, as you can see by Baby S’ magnetic smile and all the shared laughter in this affectionate family. <3
To mom, dad, and Baby S, thank you for joining me at Nottoway Park and brightening a cold January day!
